Public Content Rules & Seller Terms

Effective October 8, 2026 · Applies to public storefronts, public merchant profiles, and product search results hosted by the TX Gear Vendor Network.

Our public website is general-audience. The TX Gear Vendor Network does not display or advertise sexually explicit or adult-sexual products, images, descriptions, or listings on publicly accessible pages. This is a network publishing rule, even if an item is permitted elsewhere in Second Life.

1. Public content standards

Sellers may not publish the following in any publicly accessible storefront, product listing, directory description, logo, image, or search result on our domain:

Sexually explicit images, nudity intended for sexual presentation, pornography, or graphic depictions of sexual activity.
Products primarily intended for sexual activity or erotic roleplay, including sexual toys, sex furniture, adult pose systems, and sexually explicit animations.
Sexually explicit advertising, titles, keywords, descriptions, or links promoting such content.
Illegal goods or services, content that exploits minors, non-consensual sexual material, or other content prohibited by applicable law or Second Life rules.
Infringing, deceptive, malicious, or unauthorized material, including content the seller has no right to distribute.

Ordinary clothing, furniture, or non-sexual avatar poses are not automatically prohibited merely because of their category. The actual product, its marketing, and its context matter. If uncertain, do not publish it publicly until the network administrator has reviewed it.

2. In-world vendors versus public website

Public website visibility is separate from in-world vendor operation. The Network Administrator may block a seller's public catalog and directory appearance while leaving their underlying in-world sales capability enabled, subject to Second Life rules and applicable laws. In-world content remains the seller's responsibility and is not endorsed by TX Gear.

3. Seller responsibility

Each seller is responsible for their store name, logo, listing images, descriptions, inventory, sales, product permissions, lawful operation, and compliance with applicable laws and Second Life policies. Sellers must keep public content appropriate for a general audience, even when links are shared outside Second Life.

4. Review and enforcement

The TX Gear Vendor Network may review submitted content, refuse publication, block any public storefront, remove a merchant from public search and directory results, or suspend network service when necessary to enforce these rules. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension. These actions may be taken without advance notice when immediate removal is appropriate. A seller may request reconsideration through the network operator.

5. Purchases and delivery

The public website is a discovery service for independent Second Life merchants. Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchases are completed inworld using Linden dollars through participating merchants' vendors. Products and seller obligations remain the responsibility of the individual merchant. TX Gear does not warrant third-party products or independently guarantee seller performance.

6. Changes to these rules

These rules may be updated to protect visitors, merchants, and the operation of the network. Material changes will be published here. Continuing to publish public listings after being notified of updated terms may require renewed acceptance.

This policy is a practical moderation standard for the network. It does not replace Second Life's Terms of Service or any legal obligations that apply to sellers.
